From one job in Porto Alegre to a national representation
Shop Engenharia was founded in 1982 in Porto Alegre, focused on engineering solutions for mining, agribusiness, industry, commerce and residential clients. Over more than four decades it established itself as a partner to operations that cannot stop, working across consultancy, execution and maintenance of structural, electrical, hydraulic, insulated-panel and infrastructure projects.
In 2026 the company took a strategic step and became the official DMC Technology representative in Brazil, bringing to the country the most advanced conveyor belt monitoring and inspection systems on the market, used by mining, port and steel operations in several countries.
Today Shop also works on the electrification of the Brazilian vehicle fleet, designing and installing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. It is the same technical rigour, at a different scale.
The foundation Shop has
stood on for 44 years.
Before representing inspection technology, Shop was already doing the work on site. That field record is what separates the company from a reseller.
